Dr. R.B.Raizada
Dr. R.B.Raizada is one among the first official Pesticide Toxicologist of Industrial Toxicology Research Centre (now Indian Institute of Toxicology Research), a CSIR Institute in Lucknow.
Dr.Raizada worked as Head of Pesticide Toxicology of ITRC. He is the one who initiated Safety Evaluation and Risk Assessment Program on Pesticides and Industrial Chemicals and established a NABL Accredited laboratory. Dr. Raizada has served as GLP Inspector for Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India for GLP compliance Program.
Dr. Raizada initiated Pesticide Residue Analysis Project on Monitoring of residues in food commodities and environmental components as part of Govt. of India project and participated in various National level committees and projects.
Trained in R&D Management at Administrative Staff College, Hyderabad, Dr. Raizada was one among the few CSIR Scientists to undergo Pre-clinical Toxicology and Non-Clinical Safety Testing of WHO sponsored workshops conducted by leading institutions of Govt. of India.
Dr. Raizada initiated Pesticide Residue Analysis Project on Monitoring of residues in food commodities and environmental components as part of Govt. of India project and participated in various National level committees and projects.
Dr. Raizada has published around 100 research papers in National and International journals of repute of good impact factor apart from guiding Ph.D, M.S and Post-graduate trainees.
